I cleaned the MAF sensor and cleared the codes. Now the P is coming back. Driving through deep puddles makes the car feel like its "out of gas" and the engine has a hard time staying on. I have no pending codes. Is there any tutorial on checking the o2 or cat online? Remember me. I scanned it with my ScanGauge and saw P System too lean at idle. It says that it will set a trouble code when this happens which you say you don't currently have. I tried propane again around intake manifold, vacuum lines and even open the air filter box and sent it right in the intake and it seemed to make ZERO difference. Log in Username. It indicates a fault with the post catalyst fuel trim system in bank 1 and may be seen with a misfire code, or other lean or rich codes as well. When your vehicle is in good working condition, the catalytic converter should burn off any extra emissions, putting the fuel trim within the desired range. Most modern cars will have an upstream O2 sensor mounted before the catalytic converter and another mounted downstream.
