Paper squishies
DIY paper squishies are made from, you guessed it, paper! The paper is drawn on, then covered with clear packing tape. The shape is cut, paper squishies, then paper squishies sides are taped together and the form is stuffed so that it is squishy!
Today, these girls are going to explain in their own words how to make a paper squishy. These small squishies are 3D and a fun way to brighten a room or make a space feel creative. When we first made squishies, we liked them so much that we made many more squishies with different designs. The first time we made squishies we tried to replicate Christmas ornaments in the shape of artists. From there, we made many other shapes and designs of squishies such as animals, food, and symbols like letters, hearts, or flags. As a summer project, I tasked them with writing their first blog post.

Once you have learned how to make a paper squishy diy — you can make any design you wish! My kids have been asking me how to make paper squishies for aaaaages. I confess, it has taken me about 3 months to get around to doing some. Yes, they are not as perfect as the shop bought ones, but they are easy to make and surprisingly satisfying to squish and play with. You can also experiment with different shapes and sizes.
