This lab looks at a few simple DC circuits that give an idea of how they work. Walks students through the construction of series and parallel circuits using the simulators and asks them to record any observations. This is a hour tutorial, focussing on the concept of potential difference in electric circuits. The tutorial is an adaptation of the University of Washington Tutorial in Physics and complements their work. This includes a student activities worksheet and several diagrams demonstrating parallel circuits, and the various concepts governing these circuits.
