The DWP record every successful PIP claim under one of over different health conditions, depending on which one they think is your main source of points. The table below shows what percentage of claims for each condition are successful. Be warned though, the DWP use some fairly odd and unpredictable terms. So, for example, if you are looking for epilepsy, you'll need to search for seizures. And there's no depression - it's depressive disorders. The DWP update their statistics every three months, this table is based on the February figures.

Hi I'm just wondering if any of u girls have pip for long term health illness? Before I put claim in many times for my mental health and they declined and my mental health team done a note explaining I was entitled but I gave up in the end. But because of the endometriosis and lung term health now I should be entitled to it now. Has anyone else got this or had problems? Is it best to get a letter from gp? I also have bipolar and other mental health disorders and an unstable personality disorder. Any help and advice would be great plz and thanks for the support and help. I have had a positive experience of PIP for endometriosis and adenomyosis. Get all the paper work you can, GP, consultants, prescription sheet, any alternative therapists that treat you and I also had testimony from neighbours and friends that help me out when things are bad. Take all that to Citizen's Advice and get it included in your application and you should be fine.

I just wanted to let you know that after being rejected for personal independence payments I have now been accepted. I started the application in March and when they rejected me in September I decided to appeal. I took the DWP to court where a judge, a doctor and disability specialist decide if I meet the criteria. A couple of weeks ago I had the final hearing and they ruled in my favour. I am so relieved because it is recognition of how much endometriosis has affected my life.
