Plusnet email problems

On Monday 9th JanuaryI spoke to a Plusnet customer adviser about a problem I had regarding deleted emails on Webmail. Surprise, surprise, he had plusnet email problems idea! He then stated that Plusnet will be closing down all email accounts ending in plus.

Now I keep on getting notifications to update the credentials for one of the accounts. All other e-mail accounts still work. IMAP: imap. SMTP: relay. Go to the fix.

I have been using plus net accounts on Thunderbird for many years and on different machines. Currently I am using Linux Mint. That account works fine but the second and third accounts will not work using those settings. Having set them up on quite a few machines over the years, I remember having to indicate by adding something in one of the boxes during the set up This information was included by instructions provided by Plus Net, in a table. I expected to get this information from the set up instructions. I have contacted the helpers by phone but them obviously didn't understand what I was talking about. Long term PlusNet user, yesterday my main account returns an error message username passport not correct. I have tried requesting a reset for the password, but the same happens.
