The Poisoned Apple is a magic blood-red apple which will send its victim into the Sleeping Death when bitten. The victim of it can only be revived by love's first kiss. It is also well-known as a trademark object for both Snow White and the Evil Queen. In the stages of the film, the apple was a story element that was to deliver a significant impact to the film's tone and transition. The scene of the Witch preparing the poisoned apple was discussed in a story conference in :. Both ideas were used in the final film; innocent music is playing when the apple turns red, and the Witch appears to admire it briefly before offering it cruelly to the Raven. There was also a very short sequence involving the Witch stirring her cauldron that was fully animated and completed, and was among the scenes cut from the film by Walt Disney at the last minute. In the sequence, the Raven looks on as the Witch stirs the cauldron with a huge bone of an unknown animal. She pauses to see that the smoke rising from the brew is shaped like skulls, and adds a drop of an unknown ingredient to the concoction:. Smoke from the cauldron then begins to fill the room.

Poisoned Apples are a specialty item used by the Dark Brotherhood to assassinate people. These items will kill any non- essential character who eats them, no matter what even if the target is immune to poison. Once eaten, the Poisoned Apple applies a script effect that adds the Ability "Damage Health 10 pts" to the victim. Since the damage being done is now a character's Ability, there is no way to resist, cure, or dispel it after it's activated.

Reinstalled Check the speed by clicking on the graphic in the window. Keynote runs, movies play, GIFs animate, birds sing, sky is blue, etc. I also have an eight year archive of material which just went dead. I am having this problem too -- most animated gifs trigger a crash whether playing a slideshow or just looking at the offending slide in edit mode! This is a truly weird bug Existing presentations are still a pain, having to laboriously isolate the offending gifs The timing of the onset of my problems is about right Forgive the next stupid question, but how do I go about reinstalling Snow Leopard and fixing the issue like you did? Any help or advice would be very deeply appreciated. I can't figure out how to do anything to it other than change the background colour or how to get it into Keynote. I haven't upgraded to At this point, everything works exactly the way it did last month.

Update: The iWork team contacted me in November about the crashing problem and asked me to send examples to them; I did, but never heard back from them. Usually when I'm resizing the second gif, Keynote comletely locks up. It should be just that easy, but reinstalling could screw something up on your particular system, so be sure to have backups. Create and share. I'm having the exact same issue. Hopefully all of the crash logs that I'm sending to Apple will be helpful. I can't figure out why some files now suddenly choke and others don't. Oct 25, PM in response to Charlie Perdue I have exactly the same problem: Culprit was an animated gif with transparent background that did not only crash keynote, but also messed up my display completely such that a cold reboot was the only option left. Please anyone correct me if I'm wrong -- I'm going to try User level: Level 1.
