I used an action replay so I could atleast keep my pokemon up to level, and because I wanted master balls cause catching legendaries was getting annoying, but after I went into the game with the cheats on, i went to fly to viridian to fight the last gym leader in kanto, but my map was only showing johto, and the map wasnt moving over to kanto I walked all the way back to new bark town and back across the water into kanto to see if it would update the map, but no luck They were already on the software cd, just the AR itself needed to be updated, and the codes were just moved to the AR. The codes I used work perfectly, so idk what would be wrong Meatbagz posted I went all the way to gary blue without using an action replay, I just couldnt beat him, so I wanted to atleast have a chance at beating him. So that's why I used the action replay. I beat really every trainer in the game, and didnt feel like going through the elite four a bunch of times to lvl my pokemon up slowly, or waste my time trying to trade pokemon. TC I had the same problem. Do NOT use the pokegear codes - that's what did it. I deleted them after restarting a new file and the map was fine. I didnt even know they had pokegear codes lawl.
