Are there any features that could become a security risk for the normal user? I found use in FancyZones, as part of PowerToys. PowerToys is free and automatically updated by Microsoft Store. I would like to propose PowerToys so people can split their large monitors into multi-monitor zones. This would replace other screen splitting software that is a hard to keep updated. So with PowerToys being free with ability to auto-update or force an update is a big benefit for Inventory Management, Financials, also Audits. Good to say that this button prompts for admin password, which no one has. I would assume that since it is not part of the OS or their standard suite of tool, that updates are a lower priority. However, I have no real facts. W10 only has 2 more years of support left, why not get them used to it without worrying about updates now. If you want to use PT, there are the same security risks as any other 3rd party product, but they are PowerToys, meant for power users or admins. The main security risk with Power toys IMO is Awake which gives the user an easy way to never lock the screen despite whatever policies you have in place I know there are other ways of preventing the display from sleeping and locking. EDIT: Blocking the Powertoys app will just prevent users from accessing the settings for each app but as each tool is its own exe the individual apps will continue to work.
