Staff were very welcoming, especially Jennifer, who helped with every request from us. There are some lovely walks around the former royal hunting forest of Wychford, while the Oxfordshire Way takes in several charming towns and villages where you can stop off for some light refreshment in a cosy pub or tearoom. Crib policies vary according to room type. A big pat on the back for all the staff especially Jennifer. Our disappointment could have been lessened if we'd been welcomed at reception and informed that they weren't serving food in advance.
