It can, in a way - a robot or a computer knows a limited set of simple functions. It doesn't think for itself, but it is very good at following your instructions. When you combine those instructions in a series to accomplish a complicated task, you are programming a robot! Learn coding concepts such as sequences, looping, and conditionals by making programs to guide an animated robot through a series of puzzles, mazes, and challenges. RoboMind Academy is geared for a range of skill levels: older beginners can jump right in to a typed language, while younger beginners may prefer to use the "remote control buttons" to program their sequences. We will be using the web-based program RoboMind Academy during this workshop. An email address is required for registration.
