I put one of these on today. We'll see how the rain does I used it because after installing gutter guards from Costco we had too much rain overflowing the gutter in this valley. So I don't know how much they are going to help yet. But I do want to talk about the installation. It went in pretty much as described, which is saying a lot! I'm a 60 year old woman I don't want to fuss too much with this type of stuff. I wanted the corner part to sit as high up on the gutter as possible to corral the water so I wish I had cut off the side pieces a little longer than they said to keep things from washing in along the sides.

We had to install them a little differently as we could not fit the end part in the small gutter corner so it rests a bit above it. Brief content visible, double tap to read full content, roof valley diverter.

Have you ever experienced water overflowing from your roof valley, causing damage to your property? Proper gutter slope is essential for effective water drainage. This slope ensures that water flows toward the downspouts and away from the roof valleys. If the gutters are not sloped correctly or if they have sagged over time, water may collect in certain areas, particularly in the valleys. This can lead to water seepage into the underlying roofing materials, increasing the risk of leaks and water damage. If you notice standing water or uneven drainage, it may be necessary to adjust the slope by repositioning the hangers or brackets that secure the gutters to the fascia board. In some cases, it might be necessary to seek professional assistance to ensure proper gutter slope and prevent water accumulation in the valleys. Gutters can become clogged over time, especially if they are not regularly cleaned and maintained. When leaves, twigs, dirt, and other debris accumulate in the gutters, they can obstruct the flow of water. As a result, water may overflow from the gutters or become trapped, leading to pooling in the valleys.
