We used to have the washing line screwed directly into the ground but had artificial grass put down earlier in the year and I don't want to damage it etc. Has anyone got any recommendations for a heavy stable base to use with a rotary washing line? I've been looking at parasol bases but am getting mixed reviews on stability. I have a parasol base and it's fine. I can move it around if necessary which is an advantage. I can't find a pic in Google but they do have a lot of heavy duty granite bases which are similar.
