The spell enchants 10 ruby bolts at a time and uses 1 blood rune , 1 cosmic rune , and 5 fire runes. Enchanted ruby bolts have a chance of activating the Blood Forfeit effect. The effect does not activate if the player cannot spare the hitpoints below A long, shrieking noise can be heard when this activates.

The spell enchants 10 ruby bolts at a time and uses 1 blood rune , 1 cosmic rune , and 5 fire runes. This effect can be triggered with auto attacks and abilities, with abilities consuming one bolt per activation. Multi-target abilities such as ricochet can trigger the effect separately on secondary targets. Abilities that hit multiple times such as rapid fire have a chance to trigger it on each hit separately. The damage of the effect can be further increased by Prayers , Void Knight equipment but not normal equipment damage bonuses , having boosted levels and Needle Strike 's buff. Onslaught can trigger the effect, but only Prayer and boosted levels will increase that damage. Onslaught's own self-damage would be taken as normal for that hit.
