You seem appropriately skeptical for my purposes. Free answer time my man. It means the guys a Lawrence Livermore are investing a LOT of money into technology that is based on physics which directly contradicts Einstein's general relativity, the best tested theory humans have. In my academic experience, government funders are unbelievably risk-averse, and I bet the ones who run major DOE labs are too. They know that equation is actually right, or are extremely certain that this thing will work even without a perfect understanding of it, or they wouldn't invest the cash. More fun facts: that equation contains a term that Jack Sarfatti has introduced check citation 29 and the first paragraph of page. Does this mean aliens are real?

Congressman Eric Burlison R-MO has waded into the discourse about UFOs — and in an outburst that probably says more about the state of US politics than unidentified objects in the sky, speculated that they might be "angels" sent by God himself. Yes, you read that right. Strikingly, Burlison's musings come after he attended a classified briefing about UFOs this month, though he said after it that nothing he'd learned there had fundamentally shifted his worldview. Now, that being said, I believe that what they believe they said is true. Burlison has long called for oversight over reports alleging that the US government has conspired to keep spicy UFO findings from leaking to the public. The subject has been fraught with drama. Last summer, an Air Force veteran and former member of the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency named David Grusch came forward to allege that the government had secretly recovered alien spacecraft — and even dead "pilots" inside them — for decades as part of a top-secret UFO retrieval program.

The Pentagon released a report Friday outlining the U. The page unredacted report is the first of an expected two volumes by the Department of Defense's All-Domain Anomaly Resolution Office that examine and analyze information gathered by the U. The report states that the office found no evidence that any government investigation , academic research or official review panel has confirmed that any UAP sighting "represented extraterrestrial technology. The report also addresses claims that government and private companies are "reverse-engineering extraterrestrial technology" and hiding it, noting that there is "no empirical evidence for claims" and that "claims involving specific people, known locations technological tests, and documents allegedly involved in or related to the reverse-engineering of extraterrestrial technology, are inaccurate. Pentagon reports more than UFO sightings. More from CBS News. Ronny Jackson was demoted by Navy after probe into misconduct.

Most people who research UFOs know that it probably isn't "alien" technology. Choosing which Lemmy site to sign up to is a bit like choosing your email provider - e. If the paper is right, it should be celebrated as a scientific achievement but instead, we got a boatload of national security state propaganda about ufos instead. Load Data. I don't earn any money from this site, and if my calculations are correct it'd cost me a couple thousand dollars per month with their new API pricing, so yeah. That Grusch guy says there is, and he's as honest as the day is long, according to other people, none of whom are willing to present hard evidence to corroborate his claims. Thank you for this. Note 2 : You can use lemmyverse.
This month the Pentagon will release its much-awaited UFO report. A sense of heady enthusiasm has swept over the UFO community, whose members, after suffering years being marginalized as harmless eccentrics, finally feel a sense of vindication and excitement for the coming disclosure. Also, the only way to grow Lemmy is for people like you to spend time on the site daily, interact, create new communities, etc. The reason there are multiple sites is because anyone can create their own Lemmy instance - so no single person or company controls the ' fediverse '. Note 3 : Lemmy is based on the same technology as Mastodon. Load Data. Thank you for this. Comments Per Day. Reddit devs, care to comment?
