To get into its lair you have to crawl down the plant roots in the west of Falador Park , and create an instance or join an existing one. You have the option to fight the mole in hard mode, in which she will use her special attacks more frequently. If a player is killed by the giant mole, their gravestone will appear outside her lair in Falador Park. Obtaining all unique drops will unlock the [Name] of the Underground title. The mole is level and has no weakness. Despite displaying a "None" weakness, magic is most effective in taking her down.

To access the lair, crawl down the plant roots found in the northwest corner of the park. Note: The lair is instanced and you will first have to set up your instance by choosing the number of players that can access it and if you want to activate Hard Mode. Once inside, head south into the central chamber of the lair and you'll find the Giant Mole wandering around. A bullseye lantern is highly recommended, as any light source that is not protected will extinguish, and the candle lantern will rarely break, with the candle disappearing, if he retreats within melee range. If you are using an unprotected light source such as a candle , you will need a tinderbox to reignite it. If you have achieved 99 Firemaking , you can also bring the Firemaking Skillcape either equipped or in your inventory, as it will act as a lightsource that cannot extinguish.
