The Bury St Edmund-based Pacers were trailing by almost three minutes after the first two legs of this five-stage relay. Each leg was 5km, starting and finishing from Mutford Village Hall. But the Pacers had saved their big guns for the final three legs, eventually recording an overall time of 1hr 28mins 35secs to win by 36 seconds from fellow Bury club West Suffolk AC. A copy of the Risk Assessment is available from the Race Director upon request. There will be three water stations on the 10 mile course and five on the 20 in addition to water being available at the Finish. Competitors are requested NOT to run if they feel unwell or feel they are unfit to race. Important race day information All participants will be emailed just prior to Race Day with full details. Each junction is marshaled and the course is well signed. This event is chip timed. The club is split into 2 sections, Juniors for those under 18, and Seniors for everyone older. To avoid unnecessary disturbance to the village could all visitors please use this official car park. There will be a cut-off time of four hours from the start of the 20m race. Please note both races take place on open roads which are lightly used, but are not traffic-free, so keep left at all times and therefore please also note the use of MP3 players or audio equipment of any kind is not permitted. The use of personal audio devices and earphones of any description is not permitted during your race. We recommend you arrive at least 45 minutes before your race starts.
