It continued to grow and bear new fruit as she and Clay married, had children, and started Whole Heart Ministries. Sally grew up in a loving Christian family in Texas and New Mexico. With her stay-at-home mom, she was the spoiled little sister to two older brothers. Even as a child and young woman, she was a dreamer and idealist. She was active in ministry throughout college and joined the staff of Campus Crusade for Christ upon graduation. She would minister to students at the University of Texas in Austin, spend three years in Communist Poland and Eastern Europe, and return to minister to single adults and executive women in Denver, CO in She and Clay, then at Denver Seminary, reconnected and married a year later.
