I haven't been able to find much of anything for the model I'll follow this thread though Browning SA22 be the cats meow. I wrapped my factory stock in camo gun tape, decent scope, and a bipod. Shoots great and cycles good with h.

I am a bodyman by trade and i would suggest a two part bumper repair filler to keep it from cracking in a accidental drop or cold weather. Spend a few grand on the right tooling, make a halfway decent magazine such as those for a Marlin , and bam, you will have an excellent rifle. Oh, and in the unlikely event that I screw it up, I can order a new stock from Savage. I have the wooden stock and love it, very solid, good looking rifle. JavaScript is disabled. I've got many thousands of rounds of low to high velocity cartridges through my model 64F with nary a hiccup. Mine's been to the factory 3 times and still won't work, and they say there's nothing wrong with it. The bolt then is screwed the existing charging handle. For the mag release, I drilled the existing release with a vertical hole, most of the way thru.
It is a pity, that now I can not express - it is compelled to leave. But I will return - I will necessarily write that I think on this question.
