When you adopt from our rescue, you enable us to pull another lab from a shelter, which saves the life of another dog and creates more space at the shelter so that new dogs can be kept longer.

We are a network of lab lovers located throughout the East Coast, whose mission is to rescue labrador retrievers from high-kill shelters in the South and place them in permanent, loving homes. We pull labrador retrievers and lab mixes from rural shelters who are scheduled to be euthanized, usually due to lack of space. We ensure that each dog receives the medical attention they need and place them in foster homes until they can be adopted. The adoption application is our way of getting to know you. We ask questions about your home, family, and lifestyle so that we can match you with a Lab that will thrive in your care. We encourage you to apply when are you are ready to have a Lab join your family.
