We are one of the leading watersports clubs on the East coast, with family-friendly, multi-level dinghy fleets, wind and kite surfing, paddleboarding, kayaking and a busy social club. We also have a model yacht section for ! We are home to multiple National and European class champions and we run organised social sailing activities alongside our friendly but competitive racing programme. With events throughout the season, racing from March to October and social events throughout the year we welcome visiting watersports enthusiasts and their families and encourage regular participation in all club activities. It is particularly important that defibrillators are available close to facilities that children, young people, and the wider community use regularly.

A group of Corinthian gentlemen recognizing the need for an organization devoted primarily to one-design class racing in the Santa Barbara harbor area, gathered on October 28, and laid the foundation for what is now the Santa Barbara Sailing Club. Our beginner level classes covering the Australian Sailing Start Sailing 1 and Start Sailing 2 are offered as a package of 10 weeks on Saturday mornings. By the completion of the course, you will be proficient in boat terminology, able to rig independently, and able to safely sail at all points of sailing in light conditions. A course for students who have mastered all the skills at Start Sailing 2. Sailors in Better Sailing will continue to improve their boat handling skills, learn and practice boat handling and skills necessary to participate on a race course.
