When updating the PBE server, some contents may be different. Hero Augments allow you to choose one of three options to empower a champion as the set 8 tft of the super squad you assemble.

Augments are staying this set, and will stay for the foreseeable future. However, this time around, we have new Hero Augments, which are special to each unit. Home Comps. Check the latest information for Set 8. Item Recipes. Omnivamp: heal for a percentage of damage dealt. Damage heals the lowest percent Health ally for the same amount. Grant 15 bonus Ability Power. Every 3rd attacks restore 20 additional Mana. Damage from an Ability can critically strike. The holder gains the LaserCorps trait. Attacks cannot miss. At full stacks, grant 25 Armor and Magic Resist. Every 3rd attack unleashes chain lightning that bounces to 4 enemies, dealing 30 magic damage and Shredding them for 5 seconds.

Janna grants a different buff to all adjacent allies depending on the set 8 tft weather, which changes every game. For every 2 sigils fired by her Ability, she fires an additional sigil at the lowest Health enemy.

Before we talk about the new augments, Mortdog has confirmed that the Augment System is going to be a mainstay in TFT. Instead of giving a general buff to your team or game, Hero Augments buff up a specific unit, thus making them a superhero, or supervillain. Mortdog has confirmed that there will be two Hero Augments for every unit in the new Set, so get ready for a ton of combinations. The Hero Augment selection can replace any of the three selections and will only be offered once per game. Furthermore, all players will get their Hero Augment selection at the same time. The Threat trait provides no additional bonus to fielding them, and have no synergy with other Threats. To make up for this, these units are more powerful than other units to make up for the lack of trait synergy.

Scheduled to officially release on Dec. Heroes are the overall theme for the new set, with some that may appear to look like villains. And all of those heroes are showcased in the new traits, either synergizing with others or preferring to operate independently. Threats are more powerful than other units of their same tier, but they don't benefit from any trait synergies. Item Anvils will drop starting with the Stage PVE encounter with a component Anvil, which will give you the opportunity to choose from one of three item components.
