Their skirts are intricately woven tapestries containing fractal-like zigzags of the visions they have on ayahuasca. As they slide their olive-complected fingers along the embroidery, they whisper eerie lullabies—the sacred melodies, called ikaros, gifted to them by the plants and, also, visually represented by these patterns.
