I'm not sure which brand to try as there are a few different ones that claim to be great. Can anybody recommend me a set to use that has nice elasticity to the strings and are stiff at all? I'd like to be able to play the acoustic effortlessly like I do my electric. The ultimate and most expensive is probably Thomastik-Infeld Plectrums. John Pearse and GHS are both excellent. I find that silk and bronze are warmer. And they are softer than bronze strings. When I went to school they asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up. I like the feel of them, they are less abrasive on the finger tips. They are also easy to play. But I think you have to keep them clean or they go bad fairly quickly.
