However, obtaining the Shovel won't be easy, as it is hidden deep within a cave system that's found on the western side of the map. Before you can get the Shovel, though, you'll need to grab two essential pieces of equipment before you can even attempt to get it - the Zipline Rope Gun and the Rebreather. So, here's everything you need to know about finding the Shovel in Sons of the Forest. The Shovel can be found on the west side of the map, in a cave just before you reach the snowy mountains.
