He appears to be wearing a purple hat and an aqua-colored cloak over purple garment. He does not do anything other than standing behind the counter and saying "See what you need" if interacted with. He offers items more during Multiplayer in his shop, sometimes including soul knight trader Handmade Rod.

Also, he can appear in a Cage. In this case he will offer a random Buff or weapon at a reduced price. The items in the shop cost 1 to 3 maximum HP limit. For each of the items purchased in the shop, the player's maximum health will decrease by the items' costs. The player cannot purchase an item that has a cost equal to or higher than their maximum health. If a Buff is bought in this case, it acts as an extra Buff, and does not occupy standard Buff slots.

A present Hero time-traveled before the loss and destruction of the Magic Stone , where the Aliens — with the support from seven major factions Glacier , Cave , Forest , Relics , Volcano , Spaceship , Knight Kingdom — mobilized to seize it. Initially empowered and aided by the Shrine Priestess, a kamikaze robot puts her out of action when she shields the Magic Stone and the hero from its near-lethal blast. Severely injured, her aura was lost, and so would the augments it provided. Evidently shocked by the Aliens' desperation, the recovering Priestess briefs the hero on the Shrine Backroom on some mechanics, as well as her missing allies held by hostile factions. She sends them off to rescue the Mechanical Engineer first. The hero confronts streams of onslaught and raids strongholds to recover their allies and scavenge loot to aid in their defense, while the Jolly Trader arrives on his own in discreet, also intending assistance. Eventually, the Alien Aircraft Carrier arrives after previous assaults proved to be ineffective. In spite of its devastating ravages, it was shot down, yet history repeats itself when the wreck crushes the Magic Stone.

After rescued, the Mentor is able to upgrade the hero's skill up to 15 times. Every time he upgrades the skill, the damage or effect of the skill will be enhanced.
