Head into the first room and kill the Banana Boy and his big brother, the Strongarm, for two Blue Gems. Continue up the steps and kill the next two Strongarms to collect a Green and Blue Gem, then continue onto the balcony and kill the two Banana Boys for their Blue and Green Gems. Kill the two Strongarms in the lower area for a Gold and Blue Gem, ignore the Strong Chest, and hop up the steps, picking up three Red Gems along the way.

The Spyro the Dragon games put an emphasis on exploration, tucking away loads of different secrets for players to uncover in their various levels. In particular, the green thief in the Tree Tops level of the first Spyro the Dragon can be tough to find. From the start, torch the enemies ahead of you and then hop up the stairs, but instead of going through the doorway jump through the two windows on your left. Follow this path up and around until you need to glide over to a platform with a bunch of huts and a supercharge ramp. Charge down the ramp and jump over to the platform with the green obelisk. Then jump off of the small wooden platform to the top right and over to the ramp. Jump off of that ramp but with this jump curve around to your right and land on the ramp with arrows pointing the opposite direction.

Gunners are tricky opponents due to their namesake guns, but they can be defeated with a Charge. At the ramp to the next area, stop at the bottom and look right to find a side section with two Green Gems, a Red Gem, and three Chests with three Green Gems. Now cross past the ramp and kill the Laser Gnorc for a Blue Gem, then turn left. Ignore anything else you see for now and go up the ramp. Turn right from their position to find two Chests containing a Green and Blue Gem.

Jump across to the island ahead with the tall stone structures on it, then jump right and onto the next Supercharge Ramp. From here, Jump forward onto a thin ramp next to the one you started on.

To do that from Isaak's position, go down the Supercharge Ramp and jump off of it to the right a bit to land on a wooden walkway that spirals around the tree the Red Thief will go here if you're chasing him.
