Ive noticed a lot of current AAA games this lately has this issue and its mostly due to the lack of loading screens and them attempting to do the loading in the background to make a 'seamless' transition after you start the game. If you notice its the worse when you first arrive on a planet and start moving around in a new area. I personally would prefer loading screens back.

It's annoying but I find it much less annoying than rushing into an area and missing something or struggling with gameplay due to poorly optimized asset-loading.

November November - last edited November I understand many will not accept this as a solution. March I just started playing this game and this seems to solve the issue. I've disconnected my Xbox One controller that I was playing the game with using Bluetooth and started using my Keyboard and Mouse and this issue is pretty much gone. Still a little hitch here and there when going into a new area but that was normal.
