I kept trying to make the juxtaposition post between Blue and Yellow Diamond work, but I really needed a foundation before I started comparing their characters, steven universe blue diamonds. It was turning into a huge section for each character and less like certain aspects of them were being analysed. It never turned out acceptable enough to me, and I was taking longer and longer to write just one post.

She made her debut in " The Answer ". Blue Diamond, as one of the rulers of Homeworld, is of massive size, her height making a common pearl's pale in comparison. She has a turquoise complexion and long, off-white hair which connects at her chest. She has plump lips and a straight nose. She has black eyebrows, and three black markings on the lower portion of her eyes, which are turquoise with diamond shaped pupils. Her gemstone is located on her chest.

Blue Diamond also referred to as Blue is a character that appears in the show Steven Universe. Formally an antagonist, Blue Diamond is now considered an ally in the show. She first appeared in episode 74 of Steven Universe. Blue Diamond has the power to project her emotions, most notably her sadness, into others around her. This is most effective when she is crying. She can use sadness to weaken others, both mentally and physically. She also has the power of healing, being able to partially heal a corrupted gem. As well as being able to project her emotions, she has the ability to project energy into focused beams and use them as projectiles. She has also displayed resistance to psychic manipulation. Blue is also shown to be quite strong, withstanding having a whole building thrown down on top of her and surviving the crash of her ship. Blue Diamond has azure skin and pale blue hair. Her gem, a blue diamond is placed in the centre of her chest. She is show as being between ft in height, with fan speculation putting her at around 82ft. She is usually seen wearing a floor length blue dress with fingerless gloves. She also sometimes wears a long cloak that covers her from her head to her feet.

Even before she knew of his existence, Steven made an empathetic connection with Blue Diamond that allowed him to feel her grief as she mourned at the palanquin of Pink Diamond.

Character Development : She started out as nothing more than a quiet , obedient servant of Blue Diamond, and had been like that for thousands of years. Later on, however, Steven gets her to admit she likes drawing and does it as a hobby, and she smiles when confessing it.

Blue Pearl arrives to remind her Diamond of her next appointment, and as Blue leaves the pool, the water drains after her. The Light series Console games Mobile games Browser games. Steven stops her and makes her realize just how much her actions have hurt Blue and Pink, the two people she cares about most. Despite being the third Pearl we've seen onscreen, she's the first one who matches the "stereotypical" Pearl as described by other Gems. Rose says "Blue and Yellow don't care! When Holly Blue orders them to take out the Crystal Gems, they just wave goodbye to the departing opposition. If "our" Ruby is any indication, they consider themselves expendable because they're essentially clones, lacking significant differences from each other. Blue Diamond dislikes Garnet due to being a fusion of two different types of gems. They laugh and joke with Amethyst, and they make no attempt to stop the Crystal Gems from returning to Earth, even giving them a friendly wave goodbye. She's a shatterer! Nice Girl : They immediately accept Amethyst as one of them, as opposed to the first Jasper we met, who disdained her for being small, with the only Gem mentioning it being the Carnelian cheering about no longer being the shortest amongst them. When he states that he wants the rest of the Crystal Gems to come, Blue separates him from them and states that they need to present their best selves for White. When they make us all miserable. Earn Your Happy Ending : In "Homeworld Bound", she's seen on what amounts as a campaign poster, not only confirming that she's safe, but she's running for office against the other Zircon as well!
