To determine who deserves the title, they must go to the Human World and enter a strange competition. Moyoco Anno. Most of the answers you could guess at, but one is actually somewhat surprising. While Chocolat had no problem enticing wizard-boys with her forthright personality, human boys seem to be drawn to shy and modest girls like Vanilla. Her manga Happy Mania was made into a television series in , followed by Hataraki Man in October And although mileage on this point will vary, I also think the later chapters are weak because they focus heavily on the budding romance between Chocolat and Pierre—and Pierre is simply not a likable character. To determine who deserves the title, they must go to the Human World and enter a strange competition. Anime version focuses on witches' experiences in human world and turn point and neglecting the background development such as Chocolate's parent stories which explain the filtre speciality that Chocolate has and her mother disappearance. With their sharp fangs, bug-like eyes, and floppy hats, Chocolate and Vanilla have exactly the half-cutesy, half-menacing look they should. Join the discussion. Story and art by Moyoco Anno. I first came across this story via the anime series in high school and remember loving it so much. If she cannot find her way back to the Human World in time, Chocolat will lose the contest! In the movie Japan Sinks, she has a cameo role alongside her husband; their characters were also married.
