The latest version as of this post is v1. There are twenty new playable characters plus some variants of classic characters. Everyone is unlocked from the very start, even the hidden characters from the base game. Some of the new characters are clones of already available ones, somewhat like in Smash Bros Melee. However they are not identical to their parent character and not just a model swap like in other mods.

The project started out as just individual work on new characters and stages, with some test builds directly replacing an original SSB64 character or stage with a new one.
