Sussie is a recurring character in The Amazing World of Gumball. She is a rather unique student, seen by most of her peers as weird and strange. Sussie is a chinikin with googly eyes which she can take off and put on any time as shown in " The Voice " and " The Weirdo ". She wears a white and periwinkle plaid dress with white shoes, and she is completely bald. Sussie often comes off as weird and somewhat obnoxious to many of her classmates for example, in " The Ghost ," she spits out her hot cocoa because of Gumball's bad breath, and in " The Party ," when Penny and Masami give her annoyed looks because of her sloppy eating habits. She apparently likes eating, a trait that can be seen throughout Rachel's entire party.

It is the th episode overall. The Moon examines dreams and nightmares of Elmore residents. First the viewer observes Gumball's dream. Gumball dreams that he is falling back to his house from outer space, on the way hitting several objects until he eventually hits the roof on his house , waking up immediately before he hits the ground. Next the viewer observes Mr. Small's dream.

In this, the series' first half-hour length episode, Nicole and Richard — young, married, and trying to care for their hyperactive toddler son, Gumball — buy a goldfish named Darwin note after going through several who have died to keep young Gumball occupied, but when Darwin gets flushed down the toilet, Darwin must brave a scary new world and go through years of evolution in a short amount of time in order to return to his brother. A Day in the Limelight : The second half is focused on how Darwin returns to Elmore and how he becomes a fish with legs and lungs. Accidental Ventriloquism : Richard hears the shop keeper talking from inside the van and assumes the van itself is talking. Big Damn Reunion : When reunited again, Gumball and Darwin run into each other's arms in slow motion and a heart explodes behind them. Black Comedy Burst : Richard and Nicole think they have the same plan to deal with Gumball's hyperactivity , but while Nicole wanted to get him a pet, Richard starts to say they should go back in time and prevent Gumball from being conceived. Richard suddenly cuts himself off before he can complete the sentence and nervously claims his idea was also to get a pet.
