December So iv been playing Swtor lately and i everyonce in a while, after going through a conversation or a cut scene, my UI disappears; action bar, heath bar s , and my skill menu refuses to open when this happens. If anyone has any ideas to fix this, please help. I do not work for EA. Not yet. Like i said before it comes up every once in a while. On three separate occasions, my character creation became locked after purchase.

This just happened to me as well. I can turn the UI on and off, but that just affects the mini-map and quests. No action bars, and all my key bindings do not work in combat. Had this happen to me a few days ago and yes, the only way to fix it was to completely shut down the game and re-open it. Just happened at the start of a flashpoint Very unfortunate. My UI has disappeared every time I've gone to a cutscene in a group. It's super annoying, considering this is the only MMO that my husband and I play together. I'm glad I'm not the only one having this problem, but that doesn't change the fact that it's annoying. I can't even participate in my own conversations because everything disappears. Dear Bioware, check this bug out and fix it, since I'm clearly not the only one having this issue. Are you using a 32bit OS? I was under the impression this was no longer an issue as no posts have been made recently as detailed in the known issues sticky at this link or maybe 32bit OS is just less used now. At this point I'm subscribing for about half an hour of gameplay before a crash. I performed a full uninstall and reinstall and it still gives me the UI vanishing error after my first cutscene!

Ok when I say UI most people think of the action bars, the mini-map, the toolbar at the top of the screen, and any pictures of avatars on your screen that tell you health and level and stuff. This is great and all because it reloads all the things I described up top. I am finding however that there are times where the graphics in the enviorment or my toon's graphics are messing up. Like even though I'm able to play on everything with high settings I am still seeing yellow lining on every planet in enviroments. The glow effect that happens to a toon when its healed doesn't go away. My trooper is holding a gun with one-hand while running when she should be using two.

This guide is constructed in a way that can be helpful to both experienced and returning veterans as well as new playe rs! Each element in the Interface Editor will have specific settings unique to that UI element. Defaults are listed in parentheses in case you accidentally change one and want to change it back. Scale : A slider that changes the size of the whole UI element, so that it takes up more or less of your screen. Default is 1x Alpha : A slider that adjusts the transparency of the whole UI element.

When playing group content, it is best to have all the data easily accessible to you. When you are a DPS, you would prefer to focus on the enemies. When your task is to heal your team, having easy and quick access to the raid frames is crucial.

Relogging fixes it, but if I relog, it boots me out of the group that or they are kicking me February ive had the same, problem, go to a quest hand in or interact within a section of a quest that gives a conversation and then when i come out the bottom half of the UI is gone, Action bars health, mini map, This has happened on more than one character and trying Ctrl U twice to reload the UI cause the game to shutdown completely, i tried the delete procedures in the thread and it still happens.

February Posted January 18, I queue up for tacticals, load in, and half my UI is just gone. Existing user? The GM that responded seemed to of never heard of this issue and told me to use the fixer on the login screen and reload my UI before every instance LOL , yeah ok
