By TomySawyer. I wanted to ask before using Taco marker whether it is fully legal if it is legal i want to use in super adventure box and world completion. Is there anyone to be informed? Is there any problem with ToS? In the past, there was even a contest for overlays. I think it should be fine but as far as I heard there was a banwave in some year right after SAB I think for people who were using TaCo and an outrage that a patch had installed "spyware" on people systems. I'd use anything with caution for this case.

How can I be in the game I only run gw2 on the Windows side and open Taco? I am not a developer and not savvy in your world but trying to figure this out cause it looks so cool! No, this doesn't work on linux to my knowledge. TacO uses the mumble API which works by the GW2 client opening a memory mapped file in the system at a specific url and writes the camera and other data in there for each frame. TacO opens this file as well and reads the data each frame. There's a discord channel for taco on the gw2 development community discord, you can ping me there. But food for thought: all the 54 other scanners, including all the major ones report TacO as safe.

This one doesn't come with any code changes, however the collision of the TacO button with the newly expanded menu bar has been fixed. You can download the new build from here. Got some great feedback on the marker editor. Some other generic reported issues have also been fixed in this build. This one is more for the marker pack creators, but it should benefit the community as a whole, since what makes the work of marker pack creators easier is something that should result in better quality marker packs faster. In short: TacO now contains a proper marker and trail editor with all the bells and whistles. Ok, quick bugfix release for festival tracking - turns out that the GW2 API doesn't always function as it's documented, and since there wasn't a festival up until a couple hours ago I couldn't test the tracking properly.

With the auto marker pack download and update functionality introduced yesterday it became quite apparent to me that the default TacO markers are in a bit of a messy state, so I took the time to clean everything up a bit.

TacO's development is ramping up, this time with a bunch of stability and performance improvements. In order to better be able to track unreported and rare accidents, a BugSplat accident tracking system has been integrated. This system sends incident reports to the cloud for easy triage and analysis.
