When the journey took us to Mexico 7 years ago, this is where we fell in love with the Mexican cuisine and really lacked it in Amsterdam.

Our server was very knowledgeable and extremely helpful when I asked him what I would be able to eat. If I could give 5 stars for the service alone I would! Most of the menu is gluten free, to the point that dishes with gluten containing ingredients are marked on the menu rather than dishes being marked gf. However, there were quite a few options that are cooked in the same fryer with gluten containing items. Our server also let us know that everything is cooked on the same plancha grill but they could clean it and cook my stuff off to the side. Definitely make sure you let your server know. My husband and I shared the loaded totopos basically nachos and the steak tacos and they were pretty good, though a smidge overpriced.

Hands down best Mexican food place in Amsterdam. I am now gonna add pomegranate seeds to my own attempts at Mexican food The guys are so enthusiastic about their food and are genuinely interested in your opinion of their food. There is place to sit down and eat at the counter and watch the guys make food or The food is simply stunning! Juicy bavette steaks in tacos or in bowls. We also had a cheese quesadilla - so delicious! Drinks can be chosen from one of the two bars in the food hall.

Then we started to work with Mexican chefs from different regions to create an authentic menu for Amsterdam. The vibrant streets of Mexico, live music, everywhere you can smell the delicious foods and bbq, you can get the delicious flavor of tacos in every corner in the street, you can personalize it with the salsa and perfect to pair with an ice cold margarita. We experienced this and wanted to bring this enjoyment of food and drink back to Amsterdam. We started in Magna Plaza 4 years ago, as a small taqueria in a food hall in Dam Square.

If I could give 5 stars for the service alone I would! Felt very safe eating here. I am from Mexico City and my favorite dish from the menu is the torta with the tequila mayonnaise!
