For the last decade I have been travelling to Majorca once or twice a year and in between visiting mainland Spain too, and what has been interesting to see on the island of Majorca is the sudden emergence in the last year or two of Tapas bars. Hundreds of years ago when I first started going to Spain, well, Andalucia in particular, tapas cala bona, there was no such thing as a Tapas bar. The Sea bass I found to be a little lacking in something, relying on the flavour of the fish rather than the spring onion and ginger sauce to bring out the flavour. It was enjoyable though.

The Harbour is a popular choice for those dining out, with a varied selection of Restaurants to choose from. As Restaurants are exceptionally busy during peak season, it is always best to book a table in advance. If you have children, no problem because they are well catered for in this resort with high-chairs and kids menus readily available. There are several Cafes serving daily snack and meals until late evening and Bars dotted throughout the resort. The main evening entertainment bar is 'Sandancers' in Calle Llambies, where you can enjoy some fun Karaoke.

We went here last night. We ordered meatballs in a Spanish sauce chicken wings with honey and mustard sauce chilli beef and nachos and fried goats cheese with honey on bread. The meatballs were good but It tasted gorgeous. I was happy with the food though the chicken was over cooked and dry.

If you want authentic Spanish tapas this is your place! The dishes were all delicious and the staff very friendly. Really reasonably priced too. So much of this resort is British food pizza, pasta, burgers, steak , it was refreshing to eat something local.

Whether you're a local or a visitor to this part of the island, a meal at Son Floriana is an absolute must. If you're looking for an extraordinary dining experience, look no further than Son Floriana restaurant. That was forgotten. Juicy and cooked to perfection. We were promised a starter on the house that never came no harm done, we didn't pay for it anyways. Maria and Henry will always give you a warm welcome! Every bite at Son Floriana is a culinary adventure. The flavour was ok. Great tapas for a reasonable price. The food was delicious. It didn't taste too bad but it definitely wasn't my favourite meal of the holiday, its a shame I didn't take any pictures of this one so people could judge it for themselves. The service is commendable, and the location itself boasts of scenic beauty. Usually upwards I may add! But no bill was put in front of us. Show all places.

The dishes are very tasty and traditional spanish with local catches of the day. What's the weather like in Cala Bona? The restaurant is known for its large terrace and reasonable prices suitable for families. We had 5 tapas along with some red wine. Very nice place for tapas foto and cocktail drinks. Membrane was left on and seemed to have been cooked in a microwave tough as an old boot. Tapas restaurant.
