Since almost every custom HUD has its own topic in here, I thought it is my duty tf2 toonhud create one as well. You can edit ToonHUD with your browser and share your themes with others at toonhud, tf2 toonhud. Really liking the overall look and feel of this hud. Valve fixed the tournament spectator problem. I still decided to leave player names out of it. I'll add the names as an override to the new editor I'm working on. Valve hard coded the position of team info in tournament spectator screen. It's hard to position them nicely now. I removed player names to make it look cleaner. Let's hope Valve does something about this. Transparent viewmodels only works with DirectX 9. To enable transparent viewmodels, select the override in the updater. This changes some graphic settings that makes the transparent viewmodels work correctly. More info about the transparent viewmodels here. Credits to JarateKing and komorebi. For me the transparent viewmodels makes the game a bit blurry and it adds a weird blue layer to payload cart. But try it out if you are interested.

The HUD can be customized in your browser at toonhud. You may edit this page to put your presets in a gallery at the end of the page. To edit one of your existing presets or make a new one outright, Click My Themes at the top of the screen next to the ToonHud logo and a page should load showcasing your Steam profile picture and created presets. To make a new preset, click the plus sign and the editor will load. Otherwise, click the name of the preset you would like to edit.

You can add a community-made HUD or even make your own. There are many premade themes you can download on the website. You can even create your own through a theme maker. Bear in mind that it depends on where you installed TF2, so the path may be different. Locate the path first before proceeding. For all three platforms, you can repeat the steps and replace themes. The new theme should take its place when you start the game. TF is another website you can download premade themes to modify your HUD.

First, open TF2's custom folder. If you already have a HUD here, remove it or move it somewhere else. Path depends where you've installed Steam. You can check the right path like this. Download screen pops up. First it downloads ToonHUD zip file and then it edits the zip file to add the theme in it. If you still get an error, change the download source in your ToonHUD account settings. Open the zip file and drag'n'drop the toonhud folder to your custom folder. That's it, open TF2 and enjoy!
