The Robins of Earth are four feral, cannibalistic children who were created by the Batman who Laughs to serve as his pets. The Robins were originally normal children, kidnapped by the Joker and exposed to a Joker Venom strain which drove them as insane as the Joker. After Batman saved the children, he snapped and murdered the Joker resulting in him being exposed to the same strain.
