Inside, the venue is really quirky; there are lots of small areas of seating on different levels, some up stairs and some down stairs. Square, no-nonsense tables are simply set with plain silver cutlery, red paper napkins and a single tea light set within a red glass holder. I had the Merlot and it was fairly mid-range, so not great, but not terrible either. His Nibs had a pint of Peroni, having about 5 lagers to select from. The Chicken Wings were gorgeous; they had a proper crispy coating to them that gave a wicked crunch when bitten into and had a fab kick to it, spice-wise. In contrast to the crunchy outer was the lovely moist chicken meat and its creamy taste. However, I am a total cheese freak, so the thick doorstops of bread loaded with garlic and cheese were mine, all mine! Bloody fab they were, too. We both loved the smoked burnt ends — little nuggets of yumminess are the best way to describe them, I think, with their rich, concentrated meaty taste. His Nibs can be a cheeky so-and-so at times, and clearly he was feeling cock-a-hoop as he reached over and dunked some of his hearty fries into my creamy Pepper sauce. Good job I love him! My Beef Brisket was the star of my main course, so without any ado I began to plough into it. You can have twice-cooked, seasoned, skin-on fries or house smoked Cheesy mash with the Beef Brisket; guess which I opted for? Yep, the mention of cheese swung it, hands down! Now this morsel was delicious, proper comfort food in a bowl; the creamy consistency of the mash was excellent, and there certainly was no lack of cheese melting within it.

Absolutely amazing venue for our party Every need was attended too with fantastic staff who couldn't do enough Through out the whole planning they were there to help and advise and on the night it was everything and more than we imagined.. Highly recommend this for any type of party or gathering A big thank you to everyone for making it perfect. I quite like this place. A good range of food and drinks with excellent service. A work night out, 16 people all served at the same time.

Popped in for a drink a long time ago and always wanted to come try the food. Over a year later here we are. Very busy when we walked in no reservation and asked for a table, asked if we were okay to wait at the bar and a have drink whilst waited so they could squeeze us in. Sat had a drink and a short while later taken to the table. Chicken wing starter was beautifully cooked, main courses were incredible, plenty on your plate and absolutely delicious! Cannot compliment the chefs enough. The service has been absolutely fantastic all night too from the moment we walked in, very polite, very friendly and very welcoming.

I had the grilled chicken breast very tasty meal. Multi roomed pub with restaurant focusing mainly on American style diner food. We welcome the help of all users to contribute to this important campaigning project. The food is always amazing and is reasonably priced too. I had the Grill pit combo which was absolutely amazing. Lovely place and really nice food. The Devonshire. I hired the function room for my hen party, the room was beautiful and the staff were brilliant! The food was exceptional, would definitely go again! Too much to eat in one sitting but they gave me a doggy bag and it made for a great lunch as well. This was are 1st visit.

Our first visit here, convenient for the Bowling Alley, and drawn by good reviews on Trip Advisor. Our party of 6 were not disappointed- the service was just right, in terms of friendliness without being over familiar.
