The Tuckers Arms is 12th Century classic country pub serving fine fresh local food and drinks, with daily specials that change with the seasons and produce that is right on our door step. Whether you fancy a Locally sourced meal, a cosy coffee and slice of cake next to the fire or a locally sourced pint of beer. The Tuckers arms provides a welcoming, homely and enchanting atmosphere that captures you and brings you back to the traditional country life. Lunch served 12 pm - 2 pm daily. THE best roast I have ever eaten! I went with my son on the last night of our walking weekend and were looking at the menu when the lovely waitress said they had a roast beef on offer which we both chose. I had a But then the roast turned up and it was simply delicious with a large selection of veg all which tasted equally delicious especially the cauliflower cheese. My son had a desert and chose the cherry jam and almond sponge pudding with vanilla ice cream. The whole meal was absolutely fantastic. Great service and good ales. Can not recommend this place enough. It is a rare find and I would recommend people go out of their way to find this lovely pub. In terms of Covid they were fully compliant with scanning your app on your phone with QR code.
