The Twilight Forest is densely forested and in a perpetual twilight; the normal day-night cycle is suspended. An overstory of larger trees further shades most of the world below. The canopy is pierced only occasionally by massive trees that rise to the ceiling of the world. The terrain is flatter, or at least less mountainous than the Overworld, yet still features occasional hills, sometimes rising far above the canopy level, that are hollow and riddled with caves filled with valuable ores, treasure and dangerous monsters. It also adds dungeons, bosses and a number of items, trees, and mobs.

Although they have their own uses, the Tri-bow has the potential to deal three times the damage of a normal bow, as it fires three arrows vertically that ignore immunity frames. This may cause balancing issues, especially with the Power enchantment, as its damage output becomes enough to nearly one-shot an iron golem at close range. I suggest making it weaker, but not unusable at range, by halving the damage of the secondary arrows fired by the Tri-bow. This would make the Tri-bow only deal double the damage a normal bow at close range instead of triple. Reducing the drawspeed is a possibility, but may be more annoying for players to use. On the other hand is the Seeker Bow, which works better at range than its counterpart as it slightly homes into nearby enemies. However, it is unable to home onto players. This makes the Tri-bow objectively better than the Seeker bow for PvP scenarios. Having the Seeker Bow able to home onto players would not only balance out both bows for PvP, and would also not be an issue as the homing effect of the Seeker Bow is not very strong and is usually able to correct slightly misaimed shots at most. The text was updated successfully, but these errors were encountered:. One problem is bows do not control damage nor damage calculations, the arrow entity does.
A triple draw back time does sound like a good idea imo.

Welcome to the beginner's guide for the Twilight Forest mod. Since this guide is hosted on the FTB Wiki, this guide also incorporates elements of other FTB mods at some points, but offers alternatives either in vanilla or from the Twilight Forest mod itself. As with many tutorials, the first and foremost thing to do is to launch straight into the game as if nothing has changed. Act as if it is a vanilla world. Do some mining, some caving, some resource gathering. There are some resources and goals that should be immediately targeted:.

The Snow Queen is found in an ice-encrusted room near the top of the Aurora Palace. She is perhaps the most human-like creature encountered in the Twilight Forest, resembling a woman, but with large violet eyes and pale blue skin. She is immediately hostile towards any intruders in her vicinity, launching quickly into one of three main attack patterns.
