The University of Tennessee, College of Social Work is a community of scholars, teachers, and professional staff who are committed to achieving high educational outcomes, consistent with the values of the social work profession, for all students. Our Social Work curriculum emphasizes social justice, evidence-based practice in interdisciplinary settings, and trauma-informed care. The role requires effective communication of knowledge and information to students while promoting skill acquisition and development of critical thinking. As a member of the College of Social Work faculty, the position contributes to various college and university committees and service.
