As the show was expanding into the Flash universe, bringing in more comic characters and plot lines, the introduction of Keiynan Lonsdale as Kid Flash was exciting. He quickly became a beloved character among fans, as Lonsdale gave Kid Flash wally flash energetic and endearing personality. Naturally, it came as a shock to fans when news broke that Lonsdale would be leaving The Flash after Season 4, wally flash.

Wally West was first introduced in season 2 as a result of the Flashpoint, an event that saw the show's star, Barry Allen, create an alternate timeline where Kid Flash watched over Central City. After losing his super-speed post-Flashpoint, he was bestowed with more thanks to Doctor Alchemy - ostensibly securing him as a series mainstay, though this was not to be the case. Wally West was portrayed on-screen by Keiynan Lonsdale, who gave an exceptionally memorable performance as Kid Flash. This did not stop Lonsdale from hanging up the costume rather soon after donning it, though not before joining forces with the Legends of Tomorrow. Despite being a part of the Arrowverse for just two years, Wally West left a lasting impression that would leave the question of why he left The Flash hanging. Lonsdale's initial departure from The Flash came as his character, Wally West, resolved to do a little soul-searching just a few episodes into season 4, making only a couple of brief appearances in The Flash following this decision.

Wallace Rudolph "Wally" West is the fastest man alive, and the third speedster known as the Flash. Using his superspeed powers, he wields the Speed Force and becomes a costumed crime-fighter. He is a founding member of the Teen Titans. Wally West , named after his grandfather, is the only son of Rudy and Mary West. As a child, he developed a fascination with the superhero The Flash , having no idea that the speedster knew his aunt Iris in Central City. One day, while visiting Iris at her friend Barry Allen's CSI lab at the Central City Police Department , Wally was struck by a bolt of lightning and doused in chemicals just like the Flash was, which infused Wally with the power of a mysterious energy force called the Speed Force like his hero. The team went on multiple adventures together and bonded as friends. Wally went on to witness Barry Allen sacrifice himself to save the Multiverse. Without his mentor, Wally took up the mantle and became the next Flash , eventually taking on Bart Allen as his sidekick. Wally remained active as the Flash for years, eventually meeting Linda Park , who he would go on to marry and have two children with: Irey and Jai West. Eventually, in the wake of the Final Crisis , his Mentor, Barry Allen returned , and the two men worked as Flashes alongside one another. One day, the Flash fought longtime villain Abra Kadabra , who used his magical powers to cast Wally into the Speed Force and wipe his existence from everyone's memories.

The chair had also allowed Wally to finally understand how the events of the Flashpoint had unmoored him from reality. Experiencing their combined trauma caused Wally to have a breakdown and lose control of his powers. After the events of Flashpoint wally flash, Wally existed along the rest of the DC Universe until at one point, Abra Kadabra erased Wally from the timeline and made everyone forget about him, wally flash.

When his mother reunited with her family before dying, Wally eventually met Joe, Iris, Barry Allen , and the rest of Team Flash , and soon became a member of the group. In the alternate timeline known as Flashpoint , Wally was the meta-human speedster known prominently as The Flash. As the protector of Central City , he fought against his archenemy The Rival.

Wally grew up in a small town called Blue Valley with emotionally distant parents, and dreamed of living in Central City and perhaps one day meeting his hero, The Flash. Wally was only close to one relative, his father's sister, Iris. One summer, Iris offered to let Wally stay in Central City with her. Wally gladly took the chance to get out of his hometown and away from his parents, and looked forward to the excitement of the big city. Iris introduced Wally to Barry, whom Wally thought was dull and uninteresting until Barry offered to introduce Wally to the Flash. Barry used some simple super-speed tricks to pull off the double identity, and gave Wally the surprise of his life. In Barry's lab, the Flash told Wally about how he had gotten his powers - a stray bolt of lightning that hit a rack of chemicals, which in turn hit him. A bolt of lightning struck chemicals which spilled on Wally granted him super-speed powers similar to Barry's, the exact same way in which Barry received his powers. Wally would later find out that the Speed Force used these accidents as a cover to grant super-speed powers to both him and Barry. Barry revealed his dual identity to Wally, and a new partnership was forged.

The nephew of Iris West , he first appeared in Flash , which depicted his transformation into Kid Flash. Under the mantle of Kid Flash, Wally was depicted as a teenage sidekick to his uncle-by-marriage, Barry Allen , and a founding member of the Teen Titans. He would later return as the main Flash in , as part of the Infinite Frontier relaunch. In his debut as the Flash, Wally wears a distinct red and gold costume which, like his uncle, he traditionally stores compressed inside a ring. He later creates a costume directly out of Speed Force energy. Following his return in , Wally is able to easily generate white lightning, which means his connection to the Speed Force is stronger than ever. During the first stage of his return, he temporarily wore an alternate red and silver costume when he wasn't the main Flash. Generally portrayed as a white man with red hair and green eyes, Wally was reinterpreted biracial for DC's New 52 relaunch. A desire from fans to see the original interpretation of the character restored, however, led to Wally returning in 's DC Rebirth , while his New 52 reinterpretation was made into a separate character to avoid confusion.

However, Wally's mind cannot function on the level his body is moving due to the interruption in his metamorphosis. During the battle, Wally West had a "temporal seizure". Wally called him a lost cause. And I didn't care about the FF. They returned home, where Red Arrow was quick to blame Artemis for the failure. Wally and Jay joined him in the race to save Orion's life but they were too late, Orion was killed. Wally saw all the students gathering for something and went to see what it was, which lead to him discovering that his friend Roy Harper had come back from the dead.

It increased Wally's speed so much, he actually moved and calculated time in span of a zeptosecond Which is one trillionth of one billionth or sextillionth of one second. That tomorrow brings hope, and hope is where we find redemption. They found Sportsmaster easy enough. As they turn it on, Wade is kidnapped from the hospital by Granny Goodness that seeks to use his innate connection to the Speed Force. While doing this, she notices the most powerful thought in Wally's mind is that of Linda Park, which sparks various, but supportive, reactions from the other Titans. The two speedsters runned around Ramsey and immobilized him with their lightning lassos, leaving the Green Arrow with a clear shot into the breach, which Oliver destroyed with an arrow infused with his Spectre powers that cleansed the entire multiverse of the infectious cells, also curing Ramsey in the process. Hours later, Flash returned to base where he confessed to the team about the changes made over time. She defended herself, but he didn't buy it. The year preceding his departure announcement was a major one for the actor: After starring in the teen romantic comedy Love, Simon , he spoke out about his sexuality , saying he's attracted to people regardless of their gender and prefers not to use a label. Two speedsters, one good and one evil start to fight at the remains of the Flash Museum, Thawne explains how he still did not meet Barry Allen as he found out about his future death when he came to the Flash Museum, by mistakenly traveling into the timeline where Barry was dead for years. Wally makes it inside and is too fast for their conventional weaponry, however, Admiral Vel Anthro orders the emitter to be used, overpowering Wally and seemingly turning him to ash. It subsided, but it happened again shortly thereafter, and more so.
