It has been more than four years since Dragon Ball Super ended. Even though the manga is ongoing to the present day, the anime abruptly ended after the Tournament of Power. The Tournament of Power arc was an interesting arc, considering it introduced several powerful characters all at once, and they faced each other. Initially, people thought Beerus and Whis to be the strongest, but then came the Grand Priest and Zeno. Zeno is the ultimate ruler of all the multiverse and can destroy them within seconds. He is considered to be the strongest being in the franchise. But that might not be the case anymore since there is another mysterious individual who could potentially defeat him.

The characters introduced in Dragon Ball Super take the term over-powered to a whole different level. Right at the outset, the series introduced us to Beerus, the god of destruction for Universe 7 who was capable of destroying planets on a whim. Later, however, it was revealed that Beerus was outclassed by his seemingly benign gourmand attendant, the angel Whis. From there it was revealed that there were, in fact, 12 gods of destruction for each of the 12 universes, and in turn 12 angels. That is a lot of power in existence that was hitherto unheard of , but sitting above all of these is an angel known as the Grand Priest in the manga. However, in the anime, the character is called the Grand Minister, which is the name we'll be using from here on out. The Grand Minister is a smaller than average angel, who strikes fear into the hearts of angels, gods of destruction, and supreme Kais alike. In the manga, Whis even states that he is the most powerful fighter in the multiverse, far surpassing even Whis himself who is unquestionably the most powerful being in Universe 7. The Grand Minister is capable of blocking incoming attacks from the gods of destruction using only his fingers and has never been seen to be at any real risk in the series no matter who has challenged him. His abilities include opening up portals, divination, Kai Kai, creating energy shields, warping, magic materialization and, to top off this already formidable set of skills off, he can only be "killed" -- as is the case with all of the angels -- if he is eradicated, which only comes about as a result of him violating the angel laws. In regards to fighting, this makes him effectively immortal.

I forget where I heard this but grand priest was stated to be stronger then zeno and you could actually realistically see grandpriest winning a fight. And grand priest does not have infinite imo he's just very very very powerful. At this point, it seems as if either of the two could destroy each other, with many claims from the anime very contradictory in this case, so to me it is at a stalemate. Yes, it is a bit of a contradiction, but consider something like this. If Zeno's power is infinite, and someone wishes to become stronger than Zeno or to take away Zeno's power Super Shenron would be increasing the wisher's power or decreasing Zeno's power forever and still never be able to complete the wish because, well, infinity. Or say someone wishes for Super Shenron to destroy Zeno, seeing as Zeno is completely immortal, would Super Shenron be able to do it?

I think when the next series or the next iteration of Super returns, zalama will be fully explored I also feel there will be a big reveal that the zenos are simply the god of destruction for the multiverse and that the grand priest is responsible for a lot more then imagined and is much higher on the hierarchy then we thought.
