Thought the paint was still wet, but the next day it still had a silk finish. I wanted a matte finish and trusted that it would be matte as stated on the tin. The whole job will have to be done again. Not only will the job need to be done again, it means I'll have to travel some distance to buy a different brand of paint that actually is a matte finish.

What should have been a job that took one day turned out to take three days, and it's extra annoying as it will take an afternoon to buy more paint and another day to paint over the silk finish.
