Wifi extender screwfix

Hi, just joined nowtv moving from talktalk. Nowtv router is clearly not up wifi extender screwfix the same task as talktalk router as not getting any signal in back part of an average sized 4 bed detached. Been researching what to do and it just seems like a minefield.

I've previously used Devolo powerline adapters with wifi and set the access point to be the same name as the primary. Then as you walk trough the house, device connects to the stronger WAP. Thanks for the replies. I'm going to get one and try it in different places around the house.
