The bike was part of the WR series that comprised models with different engine displacements. The Yamaha WRR had at its core a cc four-stroke single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine with a fuel injection system. It remained essentially unchanged over its production period, except for minor cosmetic modifications.

As you probably already infer, the best thing about it is that it can actually go on public roads, so it qualifies as a commuter too. If it is to make a short, but still proper introduction for the Yamaha WRR, I would call it an off-road motorcycle with a headlight and mirrors. For starters, with The frame is a motocross derived semi-double-cradle aluminum piece ensuring a great balance between strength and rigidity and that feels on the streets as well while the wave brake rotors are the perfect solution for all riding conditions, surfaces and styles. A cc liquid-cooled, DOHC, four-valves, four-stroke thumper with motocross DNA mates to a six-speed gearbox in order to make commuting possible, but not the best thing this bike can do. The headlight, taillight, signal lights and mirrors are all signals of street legality, while the tires are meant to do great with or without a grippy surface underneath them.

Engine oil. In the suspension department, the bike packed a 46 mm adjustable Kayaba inverted fork on the front with mm wheel travel and a piggyback shock absorber on the rear with mm wheel travel. In the braking department, the WRX packed a dual-piston caliper with a mm disc on the front wheel and a single-piston caliper with a mm disc on the rear, delivering solid and reliable stopping power. Also helps protect rear sprocket damage too. Light and with perfect, precise steering, the WRX is the perfect bike to slice the busy city traffic, for daily commuting and various errands, while retaining the win-factor when a track weekend dawns. The bike's wire-spoke wheels were fitted with a dual-piston caliper, a mm disc on the front, and a single-piston caliper with a mm disc on the rear, offering excellent stopping power.
