Our previous property manager was struggling to rent our property in Pleasanton using traditional methods. Additionally, we were contacted directly by the HOA, not Ziprent, to pay this fee directly to them. As others here note, because everything is automated, rents are timely collected and received, repairs are timely reported and made, placing tenants and entering into new leases is easy peasy. We ended up getting inside -- and fell in love with the place! Unfortunately, I was told that the landlord would be notified and I would be contacted IF the property owner would make any changes. The ziprent website states that "Ziprent performs a 30 minute routine inspection of the premises for habitability concerns and failures that are occurring at that time and are readily noticeable". I was incorrect. The Yelp reviews from tenants note that Ziprent favors the owner experience over the tenants' and from this experience I could definitely confirm that. This is when I requested to change the move-in date to March 1 to allow them time to prepare the apartment for move-in. Iacopo P.
