I am an unpaid volunteer for the Wikimedia Foundation , and I do mostly software testing, bug hunting, and documentation writing. With all of the careful assessment of period correctness that goes into these cars to make them believable yet unique, it seems fitting that they should have quirks, trivia, and an aura of "we'll fix it as we go" that real cars do. After all, this is a driving experience game, not a pure racing game. The devs have done something that I haven't seen in a game yet; they will give you the pavement stomping top trim model right along side the docile and boring base model just like real car makes do. This led me to a roadblock We have very little "lore" for lack of a better word for the cars in game. I feel like something like this could really add to the charm of the the cars that are in this game. I realize that the devs are quite busy as is, but with the dev blog back up and running it would be cool to see a dev post from time to time that highlights and showcases a random vehicle and fleshes out its history. I'm not looking for a grueling process of complete timelines and part categorization here, but more of a fun exercise for the devs to give us an insight to some of the character that they already build into their cars while adding even more.
