Botw fanart
This years Zelda Breath of the Wild made me realize how much I love well executed stylized looks in videogames! Until now I mainly worked on realistic to hyper realistic environments but I thought Ill try something new and go for a BotW inspired look. Im still early in the process of creating this scene, botw fanart, botw fanart, atm I botw fanart my cellshaded post process done and Im starting to like the look of the grass still missing a color texture so its time hcpss create some actual assets and start thinking about the composition! The grass is still missing a color texture but other than that I like where its going.
So, this took about an hour to make, and surprisingly, I did this art with just some coloring pencils that I have, because I don't have high quality copic markers. By the way this is my first post in this amino so I hope you guys like it! It was a bit hard for me because I had to put pressure on the color pencils in order to make them give the right color and not some weird swamp juice color. So, without further ado, check out these exceptional examples of beautiful Breath of the Wild fan art. It may even inspire you to jump back into the game itself. In this image by alanscampos , Link is doing what he does best: being heroic. He is facing off against those annoying Bokoblins.

After a new trailer for the sequel to The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild dropped during E3, fan artists have been smitten with the new look for the hero Link. This includes one artist on Pixiv, who drew an absolutely stunning depiction of the Hero of the Wilds. The art is notable for its detail on Link's arm, which appears to be fairly accurate to the trailer. When Breath of the Wild 2 was first announced at E3 , fans were quick to notice a trail of green magic overtaking Link's arm. What exactly this magic would do was theorized heavily. The gameplay trailer revealed that, while it did deform Link's arm , it also gave him the ability to use new powers.

Get App. I feel like the one thing that Im still missing here is that I cant quite figure out when to use the outline. Im quite happy with the shape, density, lods If possible I want this scene to run at 60fps on my GTX M and the way it blends with the terrain. Toemoya Toemoya May 17, , am 3. Can you maybe show us how you made the cel shading effect? Im still early in the process of creating this scene, atm I got my cellshaded post process done and Im starting to like the look of the grass still missing a color texture so its time to create some actual assets and start thinking about the composition! Wow great job! This screenshot has almost no outline in shadows, in the cave at the beginning of the game it goes around the whole character. Join the community. Why thank you good sir! Congrats on the feature and welcome! I mix a small amount of AO back into the final result as I like to retain some of the shape to better blend dynamic objects with the background and am obviously not constrained by switch hardware This goes a bit against the "frame by frame animation"look that Zelda seems to be going for where dynamic objects are considerably less detailed than static backgrounds but I always thought that in BotW characters can look slightly out of place. It also has transmissive properties similar to those in BotW:. It is still good. It seems to me, you were mistaken
Unfortunately, I can help nothing. I think, you will find the correct decision. Do not despair.
