Opened by the local council in , this campsite is well placed for Dublin and offers a welcome stopover if travelling to the more southern counties from the north of the country, or vice versa. There are pitches on hardstanding for caravans, laid out in bays and avenues, all fully serviced 10A Europlug. Mature trees and shrubs separate pitches, and roads are of tarmac. Beyond the entrance gate and forecourt stands a timber-fronted building housing the site amenities. The reception building includes information on the local area, a small book exchange and a communal TV.
